Today we were in Valencia, Spain. We hopped on a city bus that took us to the city central. Our first stop was the Cathedral of Valencia. We took an audio tour, it was interesting. We also climbed the Miguelete bell tower which had a spiral staircase that had 207 stairs! Then we just kind of roamed around. We saw a lot of things! Real Basilica de Ntra senor de los desamparados, Turia Fountain (there was a protest going on here), Serrano towers, Nevaters (churros in hot chocolate), another basilica (not sure of the name), La Llotja De La Seda (silk exchange)there were fruit trees in the yard, and Plaza Del Merado (Central Market). Then we walked the Turia gardens to the ith of Arts and Sciences, and the Oceanography buildings. We didn't go inside. Then we walked back to the ship. Today was another long day with over 22,000 steps! We ate, watched another cruise show then went to bed! Actual sleeping is hard, we are sandwiched between a teen group. They don't usually go back to their rooms until 1 a.m. then they party and have fun in their rooms until about 3! We are getting up early to get off the boat. It is pretty annoying, and it happens every night!
