April Catch Up

Joy asked up to dog watch. Then Kailey ended up being home so we didn't need to. The kids were disappointed so Kailey brought them over for a couple of hours. Bensen was in heaven. He loves animals!

The love the tradition of watching General Conference at Grandma and Grandpa Borgstroms. The kids usually take notes or tally marks and get prizes afterword. There is always yummy food too!

Bensen loves Murphy too!
I loved coming into the room and seeing the kids all piled up. It is one of my favorite things.
Bensen lost another tooth.

Mike took more kids to the temple. I am so grateful for Mike! He is such a good example to me and the kids. He makes the appointments and invites everyone to go. He really is the best!

We dyed eggs. Another fun tradition.

Happy Easter!

Jaycee is liking track. I tried to talk her into lacrosse, but she wanted to do track. I am glad she likes it.
She ran the 4x4 relay, and threw the shot put and the javelin.

Jaycee had her 9th grade dance. They went shopping for dresses and got ready at Paige's. They all so so cute! It is hard for be to believe they are almost done with 9th grade!

We got the garden ready to be planted.
I love spring! The kids were all in sports. Bensen and Vivian did so good at soccer, Wes is killing it at lacrosse. He even scored a couple of goals. Jaycee has improved so much in soccer, it is fun to watch.
Along with track. These kids are amazing and I love watching them improve and grow!

Vivian Turned 6!

Happy Birthday Viv! We sure love this girl.
We celebrated with extended family the Sunday before her birthday.

On her birthday we woke up and opened presents. When she got home from kindergarten she wanted to have a tea party and play with all her new gifts.
Later her and Bensen had soccer games. Viv was on fire today. She even started slide tackling people.

She is fierce!

Vernal Spring Break

We loved our last trip to Vernal so much we decided to bring more people with us this year. We had an VRBO that was like a motel, with a common area. It had a fun playground and a volleyball court. There were some cute animals nearby.

We went for a drive around Flaming Gorge. We got out and walked to the overlook.

On the way back we stopped at Red Fleet lake. It was beautiful! The water was so blue. The kids loved throwing rocks.

We hiked to Moonshine Arch.

Mike and Tyson took some of the kids to the Vernal temple to do baptisms for the dead.
The best part is being able to spend time with our family. The kids love being together, I think the adults do too.

Last time we came to Jones Hole we started the hike to the Snake River. We turned around at the Indian Ruins. This time we came prepared to make it all the way! It ended up being about 10 miles with a detour to a waterfall. The kids did so good! My legs were really feeling it on the way back, so I was so proud of the kids for going on without complaining.

Maxwell and Trevor had to head back before we got to the river. So a few of us fell behind a little and got a little lost. We all made it to the river, just in different spots. After yelling for like 20 minutes we finally found each other.

It started to look a little stormy so we decided we better hurry back. It got pretty windy for awhile, luckily the weather held and we got back pretty much dry.

Viv did really good, with about a mile left she wanted to be carried. Jaycee is the best and carried her for a long while. Then I carried her a little.

Some of us decided to stop at McConkie Ranch on our way back home.

We had a great spring break!
