Birthday Ben

Happy Birthday Bensen!
To know Bensen is to love him! He has a tender heart, he is so kind and sweet, and he always has been. We love watching him learn new instruments! This year he added harmonica and cello to his repertoire! This last year he played volleyball, lacrosse and basketball. He likes volleyball best ๐Ÿ Actually, what he really loves best is playing Zelda! He likes riding his bike and he has never met a dog he doesn’t just love! ๐Ÿถ He really is great! We love you Bensen, happy birthday!

Bensen's First Temple Trip

Bensen got to pass the sacrament on the 11th. He was so cute. He would pass it, and then stand (like we practiced) facing the back of the chapel. We (especially Viv) were trying to get his attention to tell him to turn around, Colton finally got him to turn around.
Then today we were able to go to the temple. What an awesome experience, it was Whitley's first time too. It was Luke's first time getting to baptize.
After the temple we went and had Seel's Fritters to go. They were delicious.

Priesthood

Bensen turns 12 in a couple of weeks. He has been so excited to move on to Young Mens. He has been saying for the last 3 months that he was done with Primary. Today was the day, he is so excited. Look at all this family that was there! Luke, Colton, and Hyrum also were ordained, so we had a big happy crowd! I tell you what family is the best!
Next steps, passing the sacrament and attending the temple.

Tonsillectomy Buddies

Tonsillectomy buddies! These two got their tonsils and adenoids out on the 5th. Bensen had a turbinate reduction also. They were both champs! No tears for either of them and they did great. ๐Ÿคž๐ŸปBensen said getting your tonsils out is way better than going to school! At about day 3 he had changed his mind. He got so sick and threw up for days! Poor kid!  He ended up looking like Goob. 23Viv recovered much faster, after the first day she refused to take medicine. These are some tough kids! They have so many people that love them! Many came to see them and brought them ice cream, popsicles and things to keep them busy. That was much appreciated!

Happy Birthday Bensen

Happy Birthday Bensen! Bensen is sunshine!☀️He is sweet, kind, and so smart! He loves playing video games, jumping on the tramp, playing piano, riding his bike, reading, doing experiments, and being with friends. He is liking playing basketball but likes volleyball more. He is a picky eater, but can choke a few bites down without tears most nights. ๐Ÿ˜ We sure love him!
His birthday was on Sunday this year, we partied with family. Today we took the whole family to the Immersive Gamebox. We had a lot of fun, I knew the kids would love it and they did. We had to split up. Half and half. So I only have picture of the younger half of the family.

Bensens Birthday

Bensen is in double digits! He got his first friend birthday party! Usually they get it at 9, but I dropped the ball last year. With Jaycee and the boys basketball schedule it makes doing fun things hard. Jaycee actually had a game on his birthday this year too, so we had the party the day before.
I gave him two options. 1-go to the church and play games, invite as many people as you want
2-get air, invite 6-10 friends.
He chose Get Air. He even opted to invite 6 friends so that his sibling could come. He is so sweet!
They had so much fun.
Bensen is pure sunshine! He is happy, loving and so sweet! He likes playing the piano, playing video games, playing with his friend and cousins. He doesn't like chores of any kind, and most foods. He is such a picky eater!
We sure love this kid and we wouldn't change him for anything!
Happy Birthday Ben!
I think Jaycee is liking basketball. She came home the other day with two pieces of paper that a teacher had given her that said she lettered in academics! She had already lettered in Soccer, basketball and Lacrosse. She is pretty awesome! We decided to get her a letterman's jacket. She works so hard in sports and academics, we are so proud of her!
