Happy Birthday Viv!

Happy Birthday to our baby! Viv is a ray of sunshine! She loves to sing, ride her bike, play with friends, jump on the tramp, play board games. Today she opened presents then had to hurry and get ready for her lacrosse game. When she got home some of her favorite people brought her chick fil a chicken nuggets! She ran through the sprinklers, then we watched The Sound Of Music. She struggled picking where to go for dinner. It came down to Wendy’s, 😬 Cup Bop, or Red Robbin. Tough choice…Jaycee and Bensen were able to sway her toward Red Robbin! After dinner more of her favorite people came over and Jaycee and Mike made everyone Oreo shakes! We sure love this girl!
She was supposed to have her first friend party today, but with me being no help, we decided to postpone it for a couple of weeks.

The day after her birthday Jaycee took her to do a photo shoot. It looks like they had a lot of fun!

We sure love these girls and their special relationship.

 

Happy Easter

He is Risen!

I am so grateful for loving Heavenly Father who sent his son to atone for my sins! I love celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We started the day of with hunting for the kids Easter baskets, they were pretty hard this year! After church we went up to the Ulrich's for some delicious brunch. At Borgstroms we ate dinner and had an Easter egg hunt. At Baileys we played some volleyball...I actually just sit around every where we go because of my stupid achilles.    

 

Senior Knight

 We got to celebrate Jaycee tonight at senior night! She has loved playing lacrosse and loves her coaches and team. We love watching her play…even when they lose. She did have two assist tonight. And so much support from our families, some pictured some not, and her friends! Thanks for supporting one of our favorite lacrosse players!

Stupid Achilles!

😫I guess you could say I am unlucky! I tore my other Achilles playing indoor soccer on Tuesday and had it repaired on Thursday. Lucky for me the block held strong and I was able to go watch Jaycee play for senior night on Friday. The block has since worn off, and it is everything I remember it being! 😫

The funny thing is I really thought someone kicked me, you would think since this was the second time it happened I would know! There was this one lady that had kick me several times that game.  I had my back to everyone trying to get the ball from the goalie. I pushed off to make my move and BAM! I'm on the ground. I yelled "Are you kidding me!" I was sure that lady came up and kick me! Amber came up and said "No one touched you." Then I really started to freak out because I knew it was my Achilles. A lady on the other team kept saying "I'm pretty sure that was her knee" As I am being carried off, I was like pretty sure it wasn't! I wasn't in the best mood. My parents drove me to the hospital. I cried the whole way there, not necessarily from physical pain but I was mentally breaking down! When we got to the hospital Mike was already there! That was a big relief and helped calm me down. He is the best! Last time I tore it he couldn't come, because the kids were too young to leave alone. 

I don't recommend tearing an Achilles to anyone...just don't do it!

I am back blogging, so I adding pictures of when I got my stitches out, which wasn't until April 23rd.

Spring Break 2025

 Spring Break 2025. We stayed home…😏 kind of. We went to Lagoon on Saturday. It was cold and rainy and not too crowded! Then we went and used our Swig fundraiser cards and got drinks and cookies. On Monday we had some friends over and watched Dog Man on the projector in the living room because it was too cold to watch outside! Tuesday we went to the dentist! No cavities! Bensen laid on the floor with the dentists dog the whole time! Every dentist office needs a dog. That night Mike took the older kids to the temple to do baptisms for the dead. I can’t remember what we did on Wednesday. 🤔I am sure it was super fun though. Thursday we went to Baby Animals Days. This was something Jaycee was begging to do. It wasn’t all she remembered it being. We probably won’t every do that again.🤞🏻Old Grist Mill for lunch made it worth the trip. Friday we went and saw the Minecraft Movie. It was pretty good, the kids all loved it. Then we came home and had a fire and roasted hotdogs. Saturday and Sunday were full of General Conference, hiking, games and cousins. Overall we had a pretty good break!

What a great week! Now back to school!
