Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve was spent at the Borgstrom.
It is always fun to watch the kids do the nativity.
This year we made a little 1 minute video using still shots. We had a lot of fun, who knew it would take so much time to make a 1 minute video. Again Mike is the fun parent for sure. It just sounded like a lot of work to me.
I also was able to talk Mike into playing a duet on the piano with me. He's such a good sport!
The kids love and look forward to getting their pajamas.
Grandma and Grandpa gave us the Nest doorbell and a Google.

Christmas as a parent is the best. Jaycee and Wesley were both helpful this year and had fun making it fun for Bensen and Vivian.
From Santa Jaycee and Wesley got electric scooters, Bensen got a remote control Mario, and Vivian got a pretend make-up kit.
After we opened presents we headed over to Bailey's for Breakfast and more presents.

Grandpa said to Vivian the other day "Hi Sweetie Weetie". She turned to Bensen and said, "He called me "Teetie Weetie". It was pretty funny. She also thinks it's funny that Grandma calls her Baby Cakes.
Grandma and grandpa gave each family a hoverboard!
Christmas this year was pretty great. We spent time focusing on the Savior, spending time with family, and playing in the snow.

October Catch Up

In October we went to a lot of soccer games.
We enjoyed watching Jaycee this year, she has a great team and coach, and has had a lot of fun.
She even got to play against Paige a few times.
This year Bensen became obsessed with Mario.
That is where the idea for our costumes came from.
I thought Vivian was going to love being Princess Peach. She loves all things girly, especially dressing up. She would have none of it. Luckily Jaime had two Yoshi costumes because she wanted nothing to do with Princess Peach.

I thought for sure she would change her mind with all the times we dressed up, but she never did.
It is always nice when all the Borgstrom cousins can be together. They have so much fun.

Grandma LouLou's parties are always fun!

It is always pretty crazy when all the Bailey's get together.
It's a good thing Joy's house is so big, they have a lot of room to fun around!

This year I swore I was just going to do a little trick of treating and then go home to pass out candy.
Well, that didn't happen. The kids were animals!
They all got really good candy, I couldn't believe it, there was so much chocolate! I think there was maybe 5 tootsie rolls in the whole lot!
I forgot to mention that Wesley was a good sport for our family parties and wore his Yoshi costume, but he really wanted to be a pile of leaves! I sent Mike to the store to pick up supplies to make said pile of leaves. He decided it would be cheaper if Wes wanted to be Groot instead. Wes agreed that Groot was pretty cool so I feel like we all won. 😊
We had a fun Halloween and I'm already thinking about what we can be next year.
