Merry Christmas

Whoever ends up with Cocoa the Cow on New Years day at 9 a.m. is the winner. The kids have had so much fun trying to get him. Christmas Eve we were at Borgstroms. The nativity this year was great.
Merry Christmas everyone! I am so grateful for this time of year, to learn/be reminded of our Savior Jesus Christ. This year we did the 12 days of Christmas that we received from the Clarks from South Ogden. He was our bishop. We haven't read these for a couple of years, so it was new for the kids. It was nice. I hope they gain their own testimonies of our Savior.

Christmas Sunday

On the 21st we went with Mikes family to the Family History Center. We took a little class. Everyone now has a log in. We took some fun pictures and did an escape room. Then Grandpa took us all to Red Robbin for lunch.
Happy Christmas Sunday. I loved todays meeting. The songs, the messages. Sidney played the piano which brought me to tears. She is so talented!
After church we had some snacks and played games. After dinner we went and stole the Cocoa the Cow from the Wards. The kids had so much fun with that game. Then we went to the Ogden lights. What a great day!

Decemeber

December was a whirlwind!
Wesley was nominated to do the Shave it of Shave it fundraiser at school. He won...or lost and shaved his head. Because that wasn't different enough he decided to bleach it too! Nobody recognized him. At church we had several people come up and talk to us about his hair. Even at Vivian's soccer game my parents were wondering who the kid sitting next to us was.😂
Bensen joined the school choir he goes to practice every Tuesday morning before school, and some Thursday right before a concert. Their Christmas concert was so good! I watched it several times and it was legit! He hates it and is not sure he wants to continue.
Mike usually takes us to a play around Christmas time. We usually go to A Christmas Carol. This year we went to the Hope Box Theater and saw  A Christmas Story. It was fun. At the Hope Box Theater they donate all the money from to families affected by cancer.
Vivian's soccer team took first place at indoor. She did so good and continues to get better and better.
On the 22nd we went to the Ogden lights. The kids always love that. It was a little rainy this year, we also took Penny. She is a little skittish around people, so that was fun.
On Christmas Eve we spent the evening with the Borgstroms.  The kids did the Nativity. It was especially cute this year.
I always love spending time with family and celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Merry Christmas!

Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
This year Mike's mom wanted a new family picture, so before our Christmas Eve party we got together and took one. I think it turned out good, and I only had to add one person, and I edited a few others.😉
We love our Christmas traditions. We spend Christmas Eve with the Borgstroms, playing game, eating yummy food and just being together. We wake up at what I think is a reasonable time on Christmas morning, I tell the kids they can't come down until 7:30. We open presents, then we head of to the Baileys for breakfast and presents.
The rest of the day we kind of float around. We usually make it back to the Borgstroms to see what everyone got. Go home and take a nap and we usually play some games later on.
I am so grateful for the Christmas season. December is usually pretty busy with parties and basketball, but we try to take time to teach the kids the reason for the season. I hope some of it sinks in. :)
