Lake Day

Happy Birthday Jaime! For her birthday she took us to the lake! We all had so much fun, even the dogs! Actually, Penny didn't love getting in the water, but she loves being with us.

Jaime has a zup board and the kids have loved trying to figure it out.

Jaime and I got in on the fun and got in the lake. That doesn't happen very often...we still got it!

When Mike got off work, he can and picked me up from the lake and we went and rode Spork.

We saw this weird snake.

I really like Spork on clockwise days, counter clockwise is not my favorite, which is what we did this day. It was still fun getting to hangout with Mike though.

When we got home we went and helped but the boat away, and then Me, Jaycee, Vivian, Jaime, Abbie and Ellie went swimming at the Decaria's for a Relief Society get together. It was a busy day. I think we will all sleep good tonight!

 

Huntington 2021

Vivian was so excited for our trip she wore her goggles and snorkel on the ride down.

We love our trips to Huntington, we usually go in the middle of the week so we pretty much have the whole lake to ourselves. This year was no exception. We had some rainy weather, but we had a blast, and as always the sky's were amazing.

We love that Amber likes driving her boat. She takes the kids out and keeps them out all day! Aunt Amber is the best!

If they weren't out on the water they were in the mud! Which I hate, but they love. It is a good thing they have showers close by for us to use.

We also played some Kube and glow in the dark Ultimate Frisbee.

 

Huntington Lake

Huntington Lake this year was great, and no one got injured.

The sunset our first night was pretty spectacular!

The kids all love the water! I was telling my parents, the one thing they got from me was their love for the water!

I'm pretty sure Jaycee could live on the water weenie.

My dad has a cousin that lives in Cleveland that has put together all these cabins.

He gave us a tour, they were pretty awesome.

He told us how he started with one and then people started donating thing to him. They are all filled with furniture, farm equipment, dentist stuff, and mercantile things. It was pretty amazing.

 In one of the homes he asked us all to be still and quiet.

Then asked what we felt.

It was pretty amazing the Spirit that you could feel in the room. I think most of us felt it.

 Even this awesome firetruck was donated to him.

 My dads cousins name is Owen Olsen, his mom was my grandmas sister.

 I loved the sunsets! That is one thing we don't have a lot of in South Weber.

We had decided to go to the Manti Pageant, everyone else went home. We took a different route over the mountain. We were able to see a lot of snow, and some lakes.

It was pretty crazy how much snow and ice were still up in the mountains.

We are off to the Manti Pageant!
