Holy Hats Batman!

This year for winter birthday gifts and Christmas gifts I decided I was going to make hats. I found a really cute pattern for animal hats and I fell in love! So I've been making a lot of hats. So far all the recipients of the hats love them which is awesome because I love them too. :) We have an Owl

The owl is my favorite this picture doesn't do it justice.
The Cat

Hello Kitty

The Cow

The Monkey

I asked my little nephew McKay(Spencer & Heather's little boy)who will be turning 3, what he wanted. Like a dog or a cow. He rubbed his little chin and said "Hum, let me think...a tiger!" I said are you sure you don't want a dog or something? No luck, he wasn't budging on the tiger. So I thought I'd give it a shot. I looked online and found some cute hats and was able to make my own and I love it. It turned out pretty good for me guessing. I'm not that great without a pattern. Here it is, the Tiger.

and a cute little doggy that I don't have a picture of. Which is funny because I think I've made that one the most.
So if you know anybody that wants a cute little animal hat I'll make them one for $15 to $20. :)

Happy Post Halloween!!

Halloween was so much fun this year! Jaycee finally kind of gets whats going on. We were bees and Mike was a bee keeper. It was fun. We had our Ward party on the 27 complete with chili and a trunk or treat. Then on Thursday the 29th it was the Bailey Halloween party. We rode the train,
played cake walk, fish pond and ring on the bottle. Oh and we can't forget the pinata, and sloppy joes. Mmmm.
On Friday we went to the V.A. Hospital, where Mikes Grandpa is staying, and went trick or treating. Good times. On Saturday the 30th we went to Mike's sisters trunk or treat. Right after that we were going to go trick or treating by our house, but it was a down pour, so we had dinner, taco soup, while we waited out the rain. Then Mike took Jaycee and Wesley out trick or treating. Not even 5 minutes later they were back, I guess Jaycee's not a fan of going door to door, actually having to work for the candy. Just kidding she was afraid of the decorations. Then Sarah, Todd, Logan, Sidney and Reese came over and played for a bit. It was nice visiting with them. On Sunday it was the Borgstrom party. We had a mummy sandwich, chicken, potato logs and a lot of treats. The kids made necklaces, photo frames and foam pumpkins. The adults got to play BINGO. After all the games we watched "How to Train Your Dragon". Such a cute show. So we had a lot of fun this year, and I'm already looking forward to next year! Happy Haunting!
