Happy Birthday Viv!

 How is my baby 7!?! We sure love this girl! She keeps us on our toes! She is so funny, and smart. She loves everything and she is always up for an adventure.

We also had a lot more lacrosse, soccer and we squeezed in some cousin time.

New York Day 3

Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Staten Island on accident, we caught the wrong ferry. Dinner at Grimaldi's, walked the Brooklyn Bridge, and the 911 memorial. We had a great trip, but we are ready to go home! Thank you New York!

 

New York Day 2

 Chelsea Market, Little Island, the High Line, Lego Store, Wicked matinee, Carnegie Diner for dinner and then Shucked for the night show. We got over 20,000 steps today, and just under that yesterday. Can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring!

New York Day 1

Mike had to go to New York for work. I got to fly out on Thursday after he was done with work and we got to Vacation for a couple of days.  I was a little nervous to fly out alone. I have never seen de-icer put on a plane before, that was interesting. I was mostly nervous about trying to find Mike once I got to New York! Lucky for me, Mike is the best, he came and met me at the airport. Not sure I would have made without him!

New York! Man there are a lot of people! Walking out of the subway pretty much took my breath away. I don't love crowds, I get a little anxious, it is crowded...everywhere!

Mike was a little stressed because we didn't really have "plans". He is a planner! Most of our vacations he has planned out with a spreadsheet. We had fun just wandering around.

Today we went to  Times Square, Bryant Park, New York Public Library, Top of the Rock, St Patrick cathedral, Central Park, and ended the day with Juniors Restaurant for dinner.

Don't ask Mike about the food! He kept asking what we should eat, and I couldn't decide. We ended up eating out of one of the food carts in Central Park, and it was pretty terrible. We got a pretzel and a fruit smoothie. The pretzel was wheat or something and had no salt on it, and the smoothie mostly tasted like water.
