Happy Birthday Baby!

Happy Birthday Viv!
I can't believe how much she has changed in two short years!
My sweet baby isn't a baby anymore, she's a crazy toddler!
I'm not going to lie, it has been hard for me to have her turn two. Knowing there are no more babies for us. I tried to talk Mike into letting me get a dog. Don't worry, he's not giving in this time. There are no dogs in our immediate future.
Jaycee's choir concert was on Viv's birthday, so we did that.
On Sunday we celebrated at Baileys first with Branson, and Trevor.
Then we went over to Borgstroms and celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa.

We sure love our Viv. She loves to play outside, sing, follow everybody around copying everything that they do, read books, and color.
She is pretty funny, and she likes to make people laugh.
We are so lucky to have her in our family.
Happy Birthday Baby!

Talented Kids

Wesley entered the schools talent show. He wanted to enter last year, but we missed the deadline. So he was all over it this year. I love that he wanted to share his talent. That is something that I never would have been comfortable with. He played "When the Medallion Calls" from Pirates of the Caribbean.
He did a great job and we are so proud of him.
A couple of days later Jaycee had her choir concert. She was a little upset thinking about all that she was missing in class.
She got over it and they did a great job.
I've been very proud of Jaycee this year. All year she got up early to go to practice and for about a month before their performance they go early twice a week. She also doesn't love getting up in front of people. One of her goals was to become a better singer. I proud of her for all her hard work. Way to go Jaycee!

Happy Easter!

For FHE we decorated some eggs.
That is always a good time.
Vivian and Bensen loved painting their eggs.

Easter landed on conference Sunday! And April Fools, it was like a double bonus. The only downfall was that we didn't have to dress up. I love getting all dressed up for Easter.
We started off at the Borgstrom's. We had a hunt in between sessions.

We watched the second session at the Bailey's and had the hunt after conference.

The next Sunday on the seventh, we got all dressed up.
Man, I sure love these kids!

I loved conference so much! We were able to be part of a solemn assembly, and sustain the new Prophet Russell M. Nelson, the First Presidency, and Quorum of the 12.  They are doing away with home teaching and visiting teaching and are now calling it ministering.
All the talks were really good.
Several new temples were announced:
  • Layton, Utah
  • Salta, Argentina
  • Bengaluru, India
  • Managua Nicaragua
  • Cagayan de Oro, Philippines
  • Richmond, Virginia
  • Major city yet to be determined in Russia

I love the Gospel and I love my Savior. I am so grateful for the atonement and resurrection. That through Jesus Christ I am able to repent and return to live with my Heavenly Father. I am grateful for the chance we have to listen to the Prophet and for modern revelation, and for the scriptures.
Happy Easter!

Spring Break Biking

The kids got off for a whole week this Spring Break. On Tuesday we went and saw "A Wrinkle In Time". We watched a couple more Harry Potters, and went for a bike ride. I'm sure we did more, I just can't remember what.

The kids did a great job. But by the time we got back to the car they were pretty tired.
