November

We had a lot of fun in November. Our Get Out Passes were going to restart so there were some things we wanted to get done before they renewed.
We did our first escape room. That was fun. We did not escape.
 We went to the Rush.
Sea Quest in the Layton Mall.

And a Jazz game. This wasn't on the pass but Jaycee played Jr. Jazz so we got tickets. I called and requested handicapped seats because I didn't want to try to climb those steep stairs in my boot. We ended up at the tip top behind a glass wall.  It was actually pretty great. We had leg room, and the kids could get up and move about. It was nice.

For Thanksgiving this year we were with my family. So much food! After eating the kids went sledding.
I love this tradition. It is fun to see what the kids are thankful for.

Bring on Christmas!

Jaycee Plays Soccer

Jaycee got to play on two soccer teams this season. She tried out for a comp team and made it on to a United team, then she tried out for Highmarks school team and made it.

We go to a lot of soccer games, and for the most part the other kids have been troopers.

It is fun to watch her love something that I love!

Happy Halloween!

This year our family theme kind of went out the window. Bensen really wanted to be a pumpkin. Vivian wanted to be a witch, so we compromised with a pumpkin witch. I was able to talk Wes into being a pumpkin, and Jaycee was a cat.
I put on a witch hat, Mikes costume never came! I got scammed! He was going to be a guy riding a pumpkin. He ended up with a pumpkin shirt.

We had several parties. The Borgstrom party was about the first time I left the house since my surgery, other then going to the doctor.

The Bailey party was at Joy's again this year.

Mike took the kids to the church party.

What is Halloween without pumpkin carving?

Look at all the toothpicks Viv put in her pumpkin!

This is the first year I stayed home for trick of treaters. Next year I wont feel bad for not staying home, I think like 5 kids came. I will just leave a bowl of candy on the porch.

The kids got so much candy!
Jaycee went trick of treating with her friends and didn't get home until later so I didn't get a picture of her haul. But she did good!
Happy Halloween!
