We started the day off with views of the Arenal Volcano. Which we heard is rare this time of year because it is always stormy. Our first stop was La Fortuna Waterfall we had a 500 stair hike down. Not gonna lie, that was tough with the achilles, but doable. The waterfall was awesome. The boys spent some time trying to catch the fish. Mike and the girls liked floating on the current. After lunch we stopped off the side of the road and did a rope swing and some cliff jumping at El Salto. Then we headed into town to do a little souvenir shopping and grab some dinner. When we got back to our Vrbo Mike made more guac. It was delicious! Then the older kids decided to take a swim in the rain.
