Last Day of School.

Wesley had his last day of school on May 21st. A couple of days after his graduation.  He has been going crazy at home with no one to play with.  He is so glad that today is Jaycee's last day.  Now he will have someone to play with.Jaycee did so good this year at school.  She struggles a bit with reading comprehension and math.  I'm pretty sure she gets that from me! She did awesome her teacher said she always raised her hand to read out loud to the class and to do the math count for lunch.  She must get that from Mike, I was way to shy for that. We sure are proud of her. Here she is with her cousins on the first day of second grade.

 I love watching her grow. Its fun that she gets to do it with her cousins around. :)

Ukulele Program

Jaycee had her ukulele/talent show program.  She did great. Her class this year has been super cute. They were all very talented. For Jaycee's talent she decided to do jump roping.  She even learned how to criss cross for it.  She did great.

 We are her number one fans! I think Wesley enjoyed it, Bensen, not so much. 

 We loved Mrs Gold.  She was an amazing teacher.

 We got to bring Jaycee home with us after the program.

It is amazing how much both Jaycee and Wesley love their little brother.  He is one lucky baby!

Camping at Heber Valley Girls Camp

This weekend we went Camping! We went with the Heiners, Petersons, and Grandma and Grandpa Bailey. Then next day Stevenson's came up with some of Amber's Brazilian friends, and Trevor's family came up.  It rained and rained, and was freezing but we still had some fun. Cold, wet camping is not for me.  

The kids loved sitting around the fire. We sat around and told funny stories about the kids that we could remember. It seems like most of the stories were about Kailey and Parson.

Once we got in our cabins we were pretty warm.  Sleeping with Bensen was not all that fun, but I was afraid he wouldn't stay under the blankets.  He doesn't love being covered up.

The next morning we got out on the lake in paddle boats. Then we tried the canoes.  The kids decided they liked the canoes better.  They went a little faster.  We even saw a little alligator! It was plastic, but the kids still loved it.

 While we went out on the canoes the missionaries kept Bensen. He liked them.

 After we went out in the canoes Jaycee wanted another turn in the paddle boats.  She did most the work, and we were cruising!

 Later in the afternoon we went to do a challenge coarse.

 We were all pretty excited, and a little nervous. We would be doing a big rope swing.

 On our way down to the swing we saw two moose!

 The kids weren't sure the swing was something they wanted to do, but they both worked up the courage to try, and they both loved it!

 Jaycee went all the way to the top.  I took a video of her.

 Wes decided he only wanted to go half way up.

 It was a little scary.

 After he was finished he said next time he would go all the way to the top.

 I am a little afraid of heights, so this was kind of scary.

 I love to swing so I had to do it.

 It was awesome!

 I was surprised Mike did it.  He told me he didn't want to. Then I turned around and he was ready to go.

 There was some going around in circles and he got a little sick.

Overall we had a great time.  We did end up going home early.  Bensen and Mike came down with fevers, and Wesley was coughing a little bit. I was worried about what I would do with Bensen during the night if he wasn't feeling well.

It's a good thing we came home, Wesley woke up at about 3 in the morning in a croup fit! Mike took him to the doctor. Mike ended up with an ear infection. 

The kids loved it and want to do more camping in the future.  Hopefully when its a little warmer.

Preshool Graduation

Oh my goodness time is going by way too fast! Wesley graduated from preschool!

 He has loved going to preschool at Miss Julies.

 He learned so much this year, their program was so cute.  They sang really cute songs and even did a little dancing!

 He is so ready for kindergarten and asks me almost daily when he gets to go.

 It was fun having them in school together.  They get along so well and hardly ever fight.

 We are all so proud of him.

 Both Grandmas made it to the program.  It was supposed to be out side, but it has been raining like crazy.  Not sure if it is ever going to stop.

We sure do love this boy, and we are excited to watch him grow!

Happy Mothers Day!

 I am so grateful to be a mom! I love my kids with all my heart and I am truly blessed to have them. I am also so grateful for my mom and all that she has done for me and continues to do for me. She is a great example of perseverance and long suffering. With everything she has been through she continues to keep a positive out look and I think she's pretty amazing!

I am also grateful for Mikes mom and all that she does for us.  She raised an amazing son. She loves with her whole heart and is pretty much the nicest person in the world. 

I know I say this a lot, but I am truly blessed. :)

I was also able to get my Young Womanhood Medallion on mothers day.  I never received it in my youth. Then in Hooper, while I served in the YW, I came pretty close, then we moved.  I was called into the YW's shortly after moving into our new house, almost a year ago, I was determined to get it. I only had a few thing to finish up and reread the Book of Mormon.  I love the young women's program and I know that it helps the girls become the best they can be and prepares them to be good wives and mothers.  It helps them learn to set goals and attain them.  It really is an inspired program and I love being a part of it.  Now I am going to work on getting my Honor Bee. To get that I need 40 hours of helping someone else get their medallion and reread the Book of Mormon. I want that Bee! 

I loved what the kids brought home from church. Wesley know me so well. I love that he thinks I am 40 and that I make really good peas.
