We made a trip up to Idaho so the kids could meet their newest cousin Mina! Safe to say we are all in love 😍

Welcome Vivian!
So, we decided to schedule on the 26th of April. However a couple of days before that I started to have contractions. They were every 2-4 minutes for two days! I went into the doctor on the 25th and had them check me I was still a 3, so the contractions weren't doing anything. Bummer right? So we went home.
The next morning we were back at the hospital no going back this time. We were up at the hospital at 6:45 and by 7:45 doctor Boheen had come in to break my water. Which proved to be harder then I remember. It took her about 5 minutes and by the time she was done I was a 4! And the baby had a heart monitor on her head. Which was nice, we were able to hear her heart beat through the whole labor.
I think I got my epidural around 10:45. Which was great! Not long after, my dad came and visited with us for a bit. Then they came and checked me and I was a 5. While we waited I read a book and Mike went and got lunch.
Right around 12 the nurse came and checked me again and I was a 6 and a half! I felt like things were moving along great. She had me turn over so I was laying on my side and said she would come back in about 10 minutes to switch sides. Not long after she left I was really starting to feel my contractions. I tried to wait the 10 minutes but ended up having Mike go get the nurse. She in turn got the anesthesiologist. I didn't want more medicine so I asked that the nurse come in and check me again. This is about when Joy showed up. The nurse came and checked me and said we were ready to have the baby. The nurse called the doctor while Mike text our families.
Doctor Boheen was there within a couple of minutes and I was set up ready to go. She told me to start pushing and I said "Really, we are doing this now?" It all happened so fast. I also told the Doctor my family (especially my mom) were going to be so sad they missed it. She told me I was ready now and this baby was coming.
I only pushed through 1 and half contractions and Vivian was here!
Perfect and beautiful.
She was born at 12:25 P.M weighing 7 pound 11 ounces and was 20 and a half inches.
My mom and Jaime walked in just in time to hear her make her first cry.
Amber, Emily and Josh B were not too far behind them, then LouAnn, Elsie and Sarah.
I was a little in shock at how fast things happened. I think Mike was too. It was funny when Doctor Boheen came in to break my water she said she thought we would have her around 2 and the nurse said 1:56. I told them I was hoping she would come around noon. She is already very obedient. :)
Mike had been sick since Wednesday last week. We were really hoping that he would be better before she was born, well, that didn't happen. And to top it off, Wesley and Bensen also got sick, so we will be taking her home to a bunch of sick people. :(
So Aunt Joy was the only one to make it too the birth, which is kind of funny because while I was pregnant I had a dream the Joy was actually delivering the baby. It was pretty funny.
She came with so much hair! None of the other kids had that much and it is black. Her eyes look like they might even stay blue. Time will tell.
We are so grateful that things went smoothly. I still can't get over what a miracle babies are.
Every morning when they would bring her to me they had her hair all done up fancy.
I spent most of my time in the hospital by myself. Mike came in a couple time, but not for very long, he was running the kids to soccer and taking care of them and since they were all sick they couldn't come to the hospital.
We had a few other visitors while we were waiting to go home, Jaime, Josh and Emily, LouAnn, Sheila, Randy and my mom and dad.
We are so grateful for our little lady. I definitely see Gods hand in all things. We already love her so much!

New Baby's gender
Today we went to the doctor and found out if we are having a boy or a girl. Here is a little snip of the kids reaction to the news.

Welcome Bensen
Bensen Thomas Borgstrom was born January 19, 2014 at Davis hospital. He was born at 4:29 pm and weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 22 inches long.
By far my biggest baby. Each pregnancy and labor have been so different. He was no exception. Here is Wesley's story. Jaycee doesn't really have a story, her labor was a breeze! I was induced, they got me started around 8:30 am, I got my epidural after noon.
There is something with me and epidurals, they just don't take well. I had the anesthesiologist give me a shot of lidocaine, which helped for a while. Around 4 I was really in a lot of pain and the baby's heart rate dropped down into the 50's and 60's. My room filled up with nurses really fast. They had me flipping from side to side until his heart rate came back up to normal. The anesthesiologist came back and gave me something that really numbed me up. I'm not sure what it was, but even my hands were numb. By the time my doctor came and it was time for me to push I couldn't feel a thing. I don't know how good of a job I did pushing. Mike said I pushed for about 20 minutes. It seemed like a lot longer than that to me. I was so exhausted, and I couldn't breath. Even my lungs felt numb. I had to use my inhaler, and I could barely keep my eyes open between contractions. After pushing for 20 minutes my doctor decided to use, I swear she called it the mega vacuum. I also received an episiotomy, I've never had one of those before, so that's been fun...NOT! I guess he came out head up, which is not ideal, his hand was also up by his face, and the cord was wrapped around his neck! He was breathing though, and that's all I really cared about. After that it was pretty much a blur.
I only held him for a minute, I was so light headed and sleepy I didn't dare hold him. I think I looked like this for about a half an hour after I had him. Nice huh?
A funny side note. Joy was on one side of me during the delivery, right after I had him she disappeared. She had to go sit down, she had been holding her breath and breathing with me, she got sick. I think everyone in the room was holding their breath. After the dizziness and light headedness wore off, I got the shakes. Luckily the medicine wore off pretty quick then I was ready to hold my Bensen.
I am so grateful everything worked out. It is so scary going in for delivery. You hope and pray everything will be ok for you and the baby, and that the baby will be healthy. We have been so blessed with healthy children. I know that each baby is a miracle sent from God. I don't know that I deserve them, but I am so grateful for them.
The kids were able to come to the hospital the next day and see him.
They love him so much!
Here is our first family photo.
It was so nice having the kids come up and see us. When I had Wesley they wouldn't let Jaycee come to the hospital.
I have a sweet friend who lost a baby this week. It makes me realize how precious my babies are. I am going to hold them and love them for as long as they will let me.
We are so blessed.

The Final Countdown!
I was hoping to have a baby by now! I guess he is going to stay in there until he is evicted on Sunday. This pregnancy has been so weird, I wasn't as sick with this one as I was with the others. However, I am in so much pain this time around. I'm pretty sure that didn't happen with the others. I have felt like my pelvis is broken for about 4 months now. It hurts to sit, stand, lay, or do anything! According to my doctor it is pretty common, and there is nothing they can do to help. She told me to take Tylenol, that was not something I wanted to do long term, so I have been trying to deal with the pain. Poor Mike has to deal with my whining...I do a lot of whining! This last month has been the worst! I'm tired, but I can't get comfortable enough to sleep. I feel like my stomach is a thousand pounds.
It's not all bad. It is pretty awesome to feel him move around, and he moves around a lot! Mike thinks it is funny that it still surprises me. It is pretty crazy to see your stomach moving all over the place.
I feel truly blessed to be pregnant, we tried to add to our family for about three years, it's what we prayed for. I don't mean to complain. I just wanted to document how weird this pregnancy has been.
On another note, on the 5th (actually the 4th, because the 5th was a Sunday) me and Mike celebrated 8 years of marriage. Mike is the BEST present giver ever! This year I got a ruby ring, necklace, and earrings! He is pretty amazing. Don't worry, I didn't get him anything, because I suck. I am planning on making it up to him when my brain is functioning properly. :) We went to a movie, Saving Mr. Banks, and out to eat at Red Robin. We haven't been to Red Robin in such a long time. We hardly ever make it to Layton. It was so good! I've been thinking about their Freckled Fruit Salad ever since.
I really am so lucky to have Mike, he really is amazing and never ceases to amaze me. I love him.
I had to take Jaycee to the dentist yesterday. She had an abscess. They ended up pulling her tooth out. She did so good, I was nervous, she was crying before we even got to his office. Once they got her set in the chair she let them put the gas on her, last time we tried that she kept tearing it off. Anyway, they were able to get her numbed up without her knowing what was going on, and she had no idea they pulled out her tooth until they showed it to her! She actually told me last night that she hopes they pull out another tooth next time we go in. Silly girl.
The house is moving along. They have the basement mostly framed and the floor put on. They haven't done framing for a couple of days, but yesterday more wood arrived, so hopefully it will start to look more like a house. I was trying to show Wesley where his room would be, he was confused because there was nowhere for his light. It is pretty exciting watching it all come together. I am a little scared about picking out all the colors, I hope they all look good together.

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
We had an excellent holiday season. As the kids get older holidays get more fun.
We had our Bailey party at Joys house this year. We ate a lot of great food, and played some fun games. Wesley even got decorated!
I don't have many pictures of my parents, so I decided to throw this one in.
Doesn't he make the cutest little tree.
Here are a couple more cute little trees.
And we can't forget my sweet reindeer.
On Christmas Eve we have the Borgstrom Party. The kids had a lot of fun dressing up and acting out the nativity.
Wesley was a so excited to be a Wiseman.
Jaycee was a shepherd. She was pretty upset that she didn't get to be Mary. All the girls wanted to be Mary. She thought if she was Mary she would get to hold Elsie, like a baby. Elsie is almost one, and not about to let anyone hold her like a baby! She wants to be on the move. She is actually in this picture, she started out in the basket. That didn't last long. You can kind of see her behind Logan.
Every year Grandma LouLou makes the kids pajamas. The kids love them.
We had fun and played games. Telestrations was so funny. I was in tears laughing so hard.
Wesley was a little nervous to go to sleep that night. He wanted to sleep with us. I assured him that Santa Claus would not be coming into his bedroom. Lucky for us they both fell asleep really fast.
They love finding what's in their socks. This year they got electric toothbrushes! And they love them.
I love his little under bite.
Both the kids got watches this year. Wesley's was a Marvel and Jaycee got a Hello Kitty.
On one of our 25 days of Christmas we took the kids to the dollar store and they were able to pick a few things out for each other and for us. This hat is one of the things Jaycee pick for Wesley.
It's funny, Mike took each of the kids, separately, to pick something out for me, and they both picked out a hand held mirror. Mike said there were a couple to choose from, but they both picked the same one.
On Wesley's list this year was a watch, an alarm clock, a telescope (which was really a magnifying glass), and a finder sing (which was a metal detector). He got three of the 4 things. No metal detector this year.
On Jaycee's list was lip stick, high heels, a dress that touches the floor, and chalk for her hair. She also got three of the four things. No high heels, and she made sure to tell me that her dress doesn't touch the floor. I told her I did my best. Dresses that touch the floor are hard to find.
Santa brought us a Wii U this year. We've had fun trying to figure that out.
After we opened our presents we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Baileys and had breakfast and opened our exchange gifts.
Here's some of the kids.
My mom asked me to make all the girls dolls this year. What a project that turned out to be. I think they turned out pretty cute...I might be a little bias. Me and Jaime picked out which doll would go to who. It was funny, when they opened them some of them matched their owner. Abbie and Ellies were exact matches. Kailey's and Paige's matched pretty good too.
Me and Mike were there, we were just on camera duty all morning.
On New Years Eve we spent the night with the Borgstrom side of our family. We played games, and ate way too much food.
Everyone made it until midnight.
Wesley had a lot more fun this year then last year. He enjoyed the horns and the loud noises. Mike and his dad tried to light fireworks for about 5 minutes. It turns out LouAnn bought big poppers, not fireworks. That was funny.
Here's all the Borgstrom cousins, except Elsie.
Ringing in the new year.
We are so lucky to have family so nearby. We even get to spend the holiday with Andrew, Cheryl, Miriam, and Quentin. The kids counted down the days until they got here. I'm not sure if they were more excited for Christmas, or for them to get here. I love that my kids get to grow up with their cousins as best friends. It really is remarkable. I love that they are all such great kids. I love spending time with mine and Mikes siblings and parents. They are all great also. We truly are blessed
Speaking of being blessed Bensen still hasn't made his arrival. I went to the doctor on Monday, she said he is measuring 7 lbs, 2oz! Jaycee was 7lbs, 3oz when she was born! Bensen is averaging out at 40 weeks. I will be 37 weeks on Monday. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks he will decide to make an appearance. If not he will for sure be here by the 19th.
