The End of August

The kids went back to school on the 18th! 10th, 6th, and 4th grades. It is hard to believe that Wesley is in high school, and that this is Bensen's last year in elementary! I am excited to see what this year brings! 

Jaycee's first day of college was on the 25th! 🤩 Her first day of college was also the first day of her Switzerland trip! She was in Switzerland for her first two weeks of college! She’s crazy, but also crazy smart so she did just fine just fine! ❤️

On the 28th Mike took me to the Johnson Files, it was down in Orem. It was fun.

On the 30th we went and rode Spork.

Goodbye Summer

Every year summer seems to get shorter and shorter! 

This year South Weber Days was on the 10th. Me and Jaime did our booth again this year. We ended up making a little less this year than we did last year. But we had fun, so there is that. The only picture I got of the whole day was after we had cleaned up we went over into a neighborhood to watch the fireworks.

Vivian went to the Orthodontist and got an expander put in to fix her crossbite. It is a good thing, but I will miss her cute little crossbite, just like I missed Wesley's underbite.

The kids went back to school on the 15th. Which seems really early! Wesley was the first one to leave this year. He is off to 9th grade.

Bensen and Viv were off next. Bensen is in 5th and Vivian is in 3rd.

Going back to school can be hard, but having a handful of cousins around makes things better!

Bensen's teacher this year is Mrs. Ailor. Jaycee had her for 5th grade too.

Vivian has Mrs. Broadhead. Jaycee and Bensen both had her also, Vivian is pretty excited!

Jaycee got to leave last this year. That has never happened. She is in 12th grade and is super excited to be graduating this year!

It is hard for me to believe I have a Senior! She has worked so hard thus far, she gets good grades, she is taking all CE classes this year. She is also attending the Davis Technical Collage doing the business program. This girl is going places!

When everyone got home from school we all decided to veg out.

Goodbye summer! Hello Fall!

On the 16th, Me, Mike and Amber decided to go ride Green Pond Trail

It was a good ride. 

I am not going to lie, I like having my kids in school. I like the structure it brings. I don't love doing homework, but really Mike is the one that does most of that.☺

Back to School

10th, 7th, 3rd, and 1st.

It is crazy having Jaycee start High School and Wesley start 7th grade! Then we have Bensen who moves over to the big school this year, and Vivian in school all day. So many changes.  Where did my babies go?

With August comes the start of soccer and football seasons. With those in full swing we stay pretty busy. We wouldn't have it any other way. Soon we will have Vivian in soccer too. Bensen decided to switch things up a little, and he is trying piano.

 

Back to School

Back to school! I think most of them were excited for school this year. This is the first year Jaycee didn't shed any tears. I really think soccer has helped her so much. She started back on the 17th. She will do great!

Bensen and Wesley started back on the 23rd.

The bus got to the school late, and I made Wesley walk with me to take Bensen to class. By the time we got over to the other school Wesley was the last one in his class. He was not thrilled with me. But they were both ready and excited for school.

Vivian started on the 30th! She was so excited, she ran to the bus stop. It was a hard week for her waiting for her turn to go. I can hardly believe my baby is in school. She is fierce and she will do great!
