Memorial Park Again

Mikes parents usually come up to Memorial Park several times during the summer. We love to come crash their party. We don't usually stay over, but we like coming up for the day.

We drove home over Monte again and stopped at Joys house on the way home to see her new puppy!
Meet River the goldendoodle. We love her. The kids have been begging for a dog, I am ready to get one, but Mike is holding out.

Soccer Golf

Viv got a black eye. I don't quite remember how.
We were able to play some footie golf at Riverside.
I didn't even know that is was a possibility.

I wasn't all that good, but it was so fun! I'm sure we will go again.

Huntington Lake 2020

We have loved our trips to Huntington, this year was no different! The first day we got there Matts brother Spencer was there with his little boat that he built. A couple people went out for a ride.
It is so nice for the kids to get to be together doing the things that they love!
Really the love just being together.
This was the first year we walked around the lake. I think it was about 3 miles, all the kids did great. We did end up with Viv on our shoulders toward the end of the walk.

We always enjoy the amazing sunset at Huntington.
On our walk Wesley and Colton picked up a baby bird. Unfortunately we didn't realize they had it until we were already back and they couldn't remember exactly where they picked it up, so we couldn't take it back. We put it back where they think they found it. We are going to say the mom found it and it is doing well.

These kids really could live on the water! Bensen, Vivian, and Branson loved the tube this year!

We drove into town to this cute little restaurant I don't remember the name, but it was good.
Wes caught a crawdad.

The guys all went Golfing. Mike says it was fun, and it looks like the coarse was a little tricky.
We had a great time, I'm grateful I get to spend time with my family.

Happy Birthday Jaycee!

We started celebrating on Sunday with Mike's family.
When we got home I was in my office and looked out my window and saw sweet Viv out saying prayer. How sweet is she?
We started the day off with opening present!

Jaycee wanted to go boating with her cousins, but it was too cold this weekend. So we went to Joys heated pool instead.

Later that night she had some of her friends from Highmark come over and play games.
Her friends decided to walk home at the end of the night, I felt bad that they were walking, so we chased them down and walked them home. I didn't know where they lived, we ended up walking all the way over to Cosher Hill. I would have felt terrible had I let them walk home. They had no idea where they were going. I would have been mad had Jaycee tried to walk home from one of their houses that late with just one other person. What were they thinking?

It is hard to believe that Jaycee is a teenager! She loves being in the water doing anything, she is the first one in and last one out, no matter where we go. She likes to play soccer and basketball. She works so hard at school, and has good grades. She likes playing night games and watching movies with her cousins. She is the best big sister and takes care of everybody.
A couple of days after her birthday she had her friends that go to Sunset come over to play night games. It was nice for her to be able see them, the hardest part about going to Highmark was not being with a lot of her friends.
I think she had a great birthday!

Summer Hair

Remember when I melted my hair in Bear Lake? Well it was time to cut it, I was ready for a change, and it is summer, so why not?

Mike got a haircut too, doesn't he look handsome? We are both much lighter!
