Frisbee, Jaycee's Birthday, Father's Day and Huntington State Park

Everyone is so happy to be out of school. Unfortunately for the older two conditioning for soccer and football has already started. Boo! We got out one evening with some cousins and played frisbee golf. Being with family is always a good time! We didn't keep track, but I am sure I won...just kidding I just walked around with Penny, but still had a great time. My shoulder isn't quite up for frisbee just yet.
Jaycee turned 17! How crazy is that? Jaycee is the best! We sure love her.
Father's Day was the day after Jaycee's birthday. We love getting to celebrate our Dad's! We are definitely have the best Dads around!
I had to include Penny's first barrette.
Since the older kids are in conditioning we didn't camp at Huntington this year, but I drove Bensen and Vivian up for the day to hang out and play. They loved the ride down. I gave them my phone and they were DJ's. We sang our hearts out, and that helped me stay awake.
Summer is off to a great start!

Vivian's Baptism

Vivian was baptized on June 1st. She has been looking forward to this day for a long time! It was a beautiful day and she had so much support and love from her family. She asked Wesley to give a talk, Jaycee to lead the music, and Bensen to play "I am a Child of God" on the piano. She also had her uncle Tyson conduct the meeting. She was baptized and confirmed by Mike and had both grandmas be witnesses. We sure love this girl!

That's a Wrap

We just wrapped up everyone's Spring season sports. We snuck in the Layton Temple open house between games.
Jaycee had a great season, she was player of the game 3 time! She led er team in assists, and ground balls, second in caused turn overs, and third in goals scored, and made the second team all region!
Wesley had a great season too, with several goals and assists. He sprained his ankle pretty good the day  before is playoff games. They made it to the final 4, they took 3rd.
Bensen had a fun season, he scored 2 goals and did awesome at defense. He is thinking about taking a break from soccer and trying taekwondo.
Viv killed it this year, we lost track of her goals, I think her high for a single game was 5 goals! She also likes playing some defense.
Me and Mike are looking forward to a little break before all the next things get started.
Then on the 23rd it was the last day of school. We said goodbye to 11th, 8th, 4th, and 2nd grades. The kids all did so good in school this year, much better than I ever did! Bensen and Viv were both pretty sad about leaving their teachers. Don't worry, I didn't let Wesley go to school like that. I forgot to take Jaycee and Wesley's pictures before they left, so I took them later that day.

May

Bensen had a piano recital and a soccer game on the same day. He played Mario, and Heart and Soul with his teacher. He did so good! While we were at the recital Mike and Wes were in Salt Lake for lacrosse.
Everyone has been pretty busy. We have Bensen and Vivian in soccer and Jaycee and Wesley in lacrosse. Everyone is scoring goals and kicking butt!
Northridge finally got their first win of Jaycee's high school career against Roy! We were all pretty excited. Jaycee played great!
One of my favorite places to eat is Bajios. They used to be all over, but know there is just one, and it is clear down in Orem! I have been talking to Mike about it for a while. He didn't think we could go all the way there just for food, so he found a hike we could go on. I think it was called Battle Creek Falls. It was a nice little hike, and lunch was amazing! I get the Green Chicken Chili Salad. Then we drove home the long way through Provo Canyon. It was a great day. The best thing about Mike working 4 10's is that we get to hang out and get things done on Fridays.
We drove up Trappers to try and see the Northern lights. It was kind of a bust. We could see them, but none for the kids were very impressed.
