Gardening and Stuff

Our garden did pretty good this year, we got a lot of peppers, beets, and squash.  For some reason my tomatoes didn't work! This is the 3rd year in row. I obviously am doing something wrong.  Maybe next year.

 We did snap peas, a couple different kids of beans, cucumbers, onions

Sweet Viv is 5 months old! We love her to pieces. She is such a good baby. She just started rolling all over the place. She has a baby food a handful of times, she doesn't love it.  The only thing I have found that she likes is squash. 

For family home evening we went on our annual hike up at Snow Basin.  The kids love it, I love it. The fall colors were pretty, not as vibrant as other years, but still beautiful.

Jaycee is such a good big sister, she is so good to help whenever we need her.

Gardening!

We are pretty excited about our garden this year. We didn't have one last year, lucky we had a neighbor who shared some of thier goods with us. I didn't think I would miss it as much as I did. Here's the plan for this year. We are a little behind on planting some of our stuff, but I think we will be ok. We are going to try canning some spaghetti sauce, salsa, potatoes, tomatoes and maybe rhubarb. I'm also going to dry some of my own herbs...never done that before, so it should interesting. I guess I've never canned veggies before either, so that also should be interesting!
