We love Lake Powell! Getting there is always such a hassle. But once things are set up the rest is mostly a dream! Our first day is always a little stressful, packing everyone's stuff into the boats, and finding a spot everyone is happy with can be hard. But we found a great spot just a little past where we stayed a couple of years ago. This year we stayed in tents. So once we found a spot we all got busy setting up tents. Once that is done the fun begins...after lunch of course.
The kids could live in the water. Lucky for us, this year there were three boats, that means everyone had a chance to be pulled if they wanted to be. We even got in some cliff jumping on our first day.
