Well, 30 isn't that bad. This is me turning 30.
We had to take Wes into the Dr. on my birthday then we went and saw "The Lorax" which was pretty cute. Then we went to Zupa's for lunch. Mike made me a Butterfingers cake. He had planned to take me out to dinner and a movie but with the kids being sick we decided to stay home. The Sunday after my birthday my family had a little party for us. My mom made meatloaf just because she knows I love it. We also had a really good salad and fresh fruit. Mmmm. And cheese cake. Delicious! I love getting together with my family.
After Jaycee threw up we all took our turn. Wesley was next then Mike then me. Jaycee and Mike were bad they were throwing up all night. When me and Wes had it we both only threw up once, still felt crappy all day. I count myself lucky. Now it's spring break and both the kids have a nasty cold. I tell you what, I am done with winter and sick kids!
Jaycee went to the dentist on March 21st. We had to have them knock her out. The last couple of times we tried to take her in she went ballistic! She ended up with 6 silver caps, 4 fillings and 1 root canal! I promise she brushes her teeth everyday and I brush them every night! Yikes. It made me sick to pay so much money for her little baby teeth that are just going to fall out in a couple of years.
Mike's church basketball team were the region champs. He missed the championship game to take me to "The Hunger Games". He is such a good husband.
On April 3 we took the kids to the Washington Terrace Playhouse for FHE to see "Joseph". We were a little worried to take Wesley with us, but he did so good. Sat still and actually liked it. Jaycee has been begging me to get "Joseph" from the library for weeks. So when I saw that it was at the playhouse, in its last week, we decided to go. It was a fun family outing. We will definitely be going to more plays in the future. We are already planning on go to the Toucan to see "Hairspray". We went last year to Little Mermaid and she loved it. Wesley was too young so he had to go to their daycare. Hopefully this year he can go with us.
We also all got our haircut that day. We cut quite a bit off of Jaycee's hair. It was over halfway down her back and now it's up to her shoulder. She told me she wants to cut it as short as her daddy's so she would never have to comb it. I was a little sad to see her cut it. I always threaten her that if she won't let me comb it I was going to have Jaime cut it. I never thought she would want to cut it. So I guess that back fired on me. Mike is always telling me not to threaten if I'm not willing to follow through...lesson learned.
It is really cute though and super easy to comb.
Conference was so good and being with Mike's side of the family is always fun.
We are excited and ready for Easter.
We dyed some eggs today with some of the cousins. It's so fun to see the kids play together. Wesley and Kayla (Amber's little girl) are so funny. They are both a little crazy, when they get together they are a lot of crazy! Wesley thinks she is so funny, heck, I think she is funny and she is only two. Watching them together is fun.
