Jaycee's Soccer Finally

I promise we went to every single one of Jaycee's soccer games, however I didn't get any pictures until the very end of the season.

 She did so good and improved so much.

 She played goalie a bit. She didn't love it, but she did a great job.

 This was such a fun team. We are looking forward to her playing with them this winter at indoor.

Let the Halloween festivities begin!

Last year at Halloween Jaycee said we should all be old people next year, and so we were...well, most of them anyway.

It did take some convincing for Bensen, he really wanted to be Peter Pan again. But he loved being an old man.

This year the Bailey Party was at Joy's house.

We had yummy soup and rolls and donuts for dessert.

The kids hit the pinata.

They also did a fish pond.

Me and Mike are the kids care takers.

I love that most people dressed up!

Family time is the best time! I got to sit and just talk with the adults, I love spending time with them!

Wesley's Character Report

Wesley had to do a Character Report. Basically he was to summarize a story while making it interesting for the class.

 He chose the book "When I Grow Up" by Weird Al.

The kid in the book names like 20 things he wants to be, with every thing he mentioned Wesley had a little prop he could pull out. He taped most of them to his chef jacket.

He did a great job.

Mike had a birthday, shout hurray!

I've never been all that great at birthday fun, but I tried really hard this year. It's not every year that you turn 40! 

 So we blew up 40 balloons and we wrote about 40 things (we did more then 40) that we love about Mike.

 After the kids went to school we went to the movies and saw "The Stray". It was pretty good.

 Then I surprised him with a restaurant we had never been to, Taggarts Grill. Which was super good, especially the dessert!

I love Mike so much! He is an amazing father and husband. He spoils us all! He would do anything for anybody, he loves to serve.

He really is the best, and I hope he had the best birthday yet!

Fall Family Pictures

At chuch today Jaime asked if I could help them take family pictures after church.

So we decided to go and to take a few of our own.

I sure love this family of mine!

What you can't tell from the pictures is that it was snowing on and off on us! Burr, it was pretty cold. Vivian also fell asleep on the way up, so she wasn't too thrilled about me getting her out in the freezing cold to take picture, but she did pretty good.
