House Update

Our house now has walls!!! Yay! It's going up so fast, and now were on to the fun stuff. There going to be doing tile and paint and cabinets next. All the stuff we picked out. I hope it all looks good together.
This is our front entryway.
That pipe is where the kitchen sink will be in a bar.
This is Jaycee getting in the shower. :)
And one of my favorite parts of the whole house...that I would not do without, the fireplace. The windows are nice too.
So there you have it. After they are done mudding, we get our tile, which is another one of my favorites! I can hardly wait. We drive out there almost everyday to see the progress, and we are always amazed at how much they can get done in a day. Exciting!

Happy Anniversary to us!

I can't believe it's been 4 years already...like I always say, time flies. It's seems like yesterday we were in Manti getting married. I just wanted to let Mike and everyone know how much I appreciate him. Mike is the easiest person in the world to live with. He keeps things clean, he lets me watch whatever I want and he is almost always in a good mood. :) He is so so so good with kids. Not only our kids, but every kid that has ever met him. Anywhere we go kids just gravitate to him. Probably because he is the only adult around who gives them the time of day and will actually play with them. And it's not like he loves playing little kid games, he just likes to make people happy. He's a good sport.
Now, back to our own kids...Jaycee loves her daddy. Every morning she come into my room and asks "Where's daddy?" Then the rest of the day it's "When will daddy be home?" Once Mikes home I can't help her with anything. He has to help her go potty, sit with her to eat, play toys with her, brush her teeth, comb her hair, wash her up after she's done eating. It makes it kind of nice for me. Poor Mike comes home from work, then Jaycee puts him back to work. He never complains. Like I said, he's a good sport. Wesley loves him too, it's a little hard for him to show it yet, but he always has a big smile for Mike. I love when Mike will sit and talk to Wesley, it's so cute. Last night he had him laughing. He even changes diapers! How did I get so lucky?

Mike is good at everything...this is no joke. Anything he tries, it might take him a couple tries, but he is good at everything. He can play any sport he wants too, he can cross stitch, he completely remodeled our house, he can fix anything including cars, blow driers, lamps. Seriously I don't think there is anything he can't do.

He is hard working and always trying to better himself. He went back to school so he could move up in his job. He finished fast and was able to move up, so now he works in Ogden. It's nice having him close to home. We love going to lunch with Daddy. We appreciate how hard he work for us.

Thank you Mike for all you do for us...I'm so glad you picked me :) The last 4 years have been wonderful, here's to the next 4. I love you.

Wesley's Blessing

We had Wesley's blessing yesterday. It was such a good day. The blessing he got was so good. I can hardly wait to see the blessings come true. Wesley is such a good baby. He's almost always happy. He very smiley. He sleeps pretty good. We are very blessed. We love him so much, I don't remember how we lived without him. Jaycee's been sick with croup, so we've been trying to keep her away from him, not the easiest thing to do. She is always worried about him, she has to know where he is at all times. It's pretty cute. I'm pretty sure I have the cutest kids in the world.

Update on the house. We have a foundation...yay! They should start framing in the next week or so. It all depends on the weather, so I wouldn't blame them if they didn't work on it. I wouldn't go out in this wind. Burr!!

Sleeping Beauties

So I'm averaging about one post a month, that's pretty good compared to some...right?
I took this cute picture this morning of the kids and thought it was blog worthy. I don't always let them in bed with me, but sometimes when Mike has already gone to work and it's cold, and I'm lazy they get to sleep in our bed. They slept in late which was nice, I was able to get up and get ready. That hardly ever happens. Wesley was sitting up on my pillow when I went to get ready, when I came back in the room he had slid down next to Jaycee. I swear, I have the cutest kids in the world. If only they were always so cute and peaceful. I think it's funny how they are sleeping in the same position. Anyway, I just had to post this picture.
We got what I consider to be good news today. They are going to start digging the hole for the house on Monday! I am super excited, Mike is a little nervous. He was hoping for a little more time to save, I just want in. We've been keeping a pretty close watch on some of the houses going up in our neighborhood. Two of them are the same house plan as ours. It's been fun to see how fast they build them. We seriously make the trip out to Hooper at least once a week. I can't wait until we can actually see our house. That I'm sure will be much more exciting. I'll make sure to put some pictures up as soon as I get them.
Oh yeah, one more thing...Happy Thanksgiving!

New House

Well, we spent the whole day yesterday, I'm talking 8 hours, picking out colors for our house. Some people might think this sounds fun...it was not fun. Me and Mike are so indecisive, and there were a lot of decisions to make. I don't have much of an eye for decorating so picking color to go together was hard. Anyway, it's nice to have it all done. Hopefully we like what we picked and that it all looks good together...I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
These are not the best pictures, but we tried.
