Florida Day 2 Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens did not disappoint! We loved all the animals and coasters! The kids loved the Tiger coaster, Me and my dad could only handle it once. The kids rode it several times. I was surprised how much Wesley liked the roller coasters. It seems like last time we went to Lagoon we had to make him go on the Colossus and he was crying! We didn't have to force him on anything, and he loved all the rides.

They had a really fun looking playground and some rides that looked really fun but they were closed because of Covid. While me, Amber, and my dad had the older kids on the bigger rides Mike and my mom and Tyson took the little kids to the smaller rides. They also went into the aviary. At the end of the night we rode a ride like the Rocket at Lagoon, except it was so much higher, and at the top it turns you so your whole body is facing the ground! It was pretty scary, we rode it a couple of time because it was the end of the night and it was still open and didn't have a line. It was just me, Jaycee, Amber and Mae.

We had a blast! Afterward we found a restaurant that we had never been to. It was pretty good.

Florida Day 1

We decided to take a last minute trip to Florida. It was a big chunk of our Christmas. We were able to get some pretty cheep air fair. Amber found a great Air B and B. The kids were so excited to fly on an airplane! We flew to Denver on Tuesday and had a pretty long lay over, and from there we took a red eye to Florida. After we picked up our rental car, we had breakfast a McDonalds and then headed to Sea World. The kids loved it! We saw pink flamingos, seals, dolphins, manatees, sharks, and orca whales! We loved the animal shows, and the roller coasters! My favorite was the shark one. The older kids loved all of them, Mike took the little kids over to the smaller rides, which they also loved! We had a great day, but we were all super tired. The plane ride there was one of the most miserable flights I have ever been on! We flew Frontier, the seats were so uncomfortable, they didn't recline at all. Mike decided to try the Manta Ray coaster on our way out. The kids had to help him out of the park.😀 Everyone crashed on our way home. They perked up once we got to the house we were staying at, the kids loved their rooms! The boys got to stay in a Star Wars room, and the girls were in a Harry Potter room. The house had a pool and a hot tub, and there was a game room in the garage.
Amber started feeling sick this day.

One Year Older and Wiser Too!

Happy Birthday to Mike!
I know I say it a lot, but Mike really is the best! He is such a good dad, a hard worker, the most service oriented person I know! He would do anything for these spoiled rotten kids. 😍 We are so lucky to have him. His birthday fell on a Sunday this year. I think we went to a movie on Saturday. We have been playing a lot of games lately, so I got him some games and his mom got him a game. We will be busy for a while.
We hope you had a great day, and that you know how important you are to us! Love you Mike.
That night I decided I couldn't take Wesley's hair anymore, so I cut it. It looked ok. I'm not quitting my day job.

Happy 11 Years on Earth Wesley!

We sure got lucky with this kid! He will always be my miracle baby. He has loved playing football, he likes basketball. He likes the color red (football colors). He is pretty easy going, he loves pizza, and reading. He likes to bug his siblings to the point of tears sometimes. He also likes to cuddle. He won't admit it, but he does. If you sit on the couch he is right on top/under you. We sure love our Wes.
This year he had a little party with some of his friends. Joy's pool for the win again! He told everybody he wanted Reese's, and Reese's he got!
He got celebrate one last time on Sunday at Borgstroms.
Love you Wes!💗
