10 Year Anniversary!

Time sure flys when your having fun! Me and Mike have been married for 10 years! How did that happen? It seems like just yesterday we were at the Manti Temple getting married.
Mike said he wanted to take care of things this year. He had some surprises up his sleeve. We headed out on January 3rd after church. Grandma Lulu watched the kids for us.
We stayed at a fun little bed and breakfast in Pleasant Grove. Mike had packed a picnic dinner.
The next morning we went to Kneaders for breakfast. I love Kneaders, but I'm never early enough for their french toast, so that was nice it was pretty delicious.
Then we went and saw a movie, it was called Concussion. After seeing it we were pretty shocked that people still play football...it's crazy! I really hope my kids don't want to play. It was educational.
Then we headed to Manti.
Mike rented us the the cutest little cottage, right across the street from the temple.
He had got me a little something for every year we were married, each year had pictures and part of a poem he had written. It even made me cry. He is the best gift giver, because he is so thoughtful. Man I am lucky.
I got him a flashlight taser, Book of Mormon study guide and a 100 reasons why I love him.
The cottage was pretty small, it was just these two rooms and the bedroom was upstairs.  I think the kids would love it, if we came down for the Manti pageant.
We could see the temple from every room except the bathroom.

We were going to see another movie, but I found a puzzle and talked Mike into putting it together with me.  I really like puzzles.
We took a puzzle break and went to dinner at Dirks Farmhouse. There menu was great, everything sounded delicious. I ended up getting the Navajo taco, and Mike got the KC bacon and blue burger. Both were great. We would definitely eat there again.
When we got back we finished the puzzle, then we watched Once I Was A Beehive. It was one of the gifts he had given me. It was pretty funny.
The next morning, our actual anniversary we went to the temple. We even got to be the witness couple. We were trying to decide if we had ever done a session there before.  I was thinking that I had, but nothing really looked familiar so I'm not sure if I really have.
It was beautiful.
After the session we went and looked at the room we were sealed in. It's sealing room number 8 and they call it the emerald room. I was thinking it was number 1. Then we had someone take us and show us the sealing rooms on the lower level and the amazing spiral staircases. It was a really nice visit to the temple.
 After we took some pictures.
I am so blessed to have married Mike, every good thing I have in my life is because of him. He is really amazing. And I sure love him.
After pictures we headed toward home.  I asked if we could stop in Wales at my grandparents graves, Mike was all for it.
I think we've settled on a name for our baby girl. We are thinking
Vivian Coral.
Unless either of us strongly feel it should be something else, that is what we are going with.
We stopped at the Gateway and saw another movie.
When we got home we picked up the kids and went out to "Chuck-A-Grandma". It was nice to get away, but it's always nice to come home. I sure missed my kids.
Thanks for making the last 10 years so great! I love you Mike!

Happy New Year!

For FHE we went to the Midway crater and went for a swim! Bensen was a little nervous, it was pretty steamy you couldn't see very far in front of you. He was crying a little when we got him in and he was saying "Nice and warm" over and over.  It was cute. Wesley got a little spooked toward the end and wanted to get out. Over all it was a pretty neat experience. We'll have to take them back when they can actually see what they were swimming in.
After swimming we went to Dairy Keen for dinner, which was delicious.
Happy New year.  We played some games with the Borgstroms, then we took some family pictures.
Which is always a fun time. Getting this many people to smile at a camera on a timer. :)
I think we all did pretty good.

We usually spend this night with the Borgstrom side of our family.  But this year we switched things up a little. At around 8:30 we headed over to Trevor and Katie's house for a little more partying.
We took our family New Year photo.  Man I love these people!
The party didn't stop at midnight.
Maybe it should have, because we got a little crazy after that.

It must have been late because I was crying I was laughing so hard. Then I got nauseous because I was laughing too hard.

Good times.
I haven't finished my resolutions yet, but I sure am looking forward to this new year.
Happy New Year!!!

Merry Christmas!

For Christmas Eve, as usual we spent our evening over at Grandma and Grandpa Borgstroms.
We love our family traditions, we usually do a little spiritual thing, any one who wants to share can.  Jaycee played the piano this year. We eat good food, play game and open presents.
The kids love getting their Christmas PJ's that Grandma makes them.  They are their favorite!
One of the best parts for the kids is spending so much time with their cousins!
For a few weeks after Christmas we go through cousin withdrawal.
We made it home around 10:30.  The kids slept great! Me and Mike got up around 7:30 and the kids got up around 8. Jaycee was the first one up, not long after Wesley was up.
Grandma and Grandpa Bailey came and visited us, so we woke Bensen up so the kids could get started opening presents.
From Santa Jaycee got a remote control car, Wesley got a telescope and Bensen got a popper thing.
We got Wesley and Bensen little tiny remote control cars.
It was fun watching them drive them around. Wesley and Jaycee also got little MiP robots that they really like. They all got things to go in their 72 hour kits, like tactical scarfs and pocket knives. Jaycee was pretty excited about her Heely shoes. I got a shark vacuum that I am really excited about!
After we got done opening presents we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Baileys for breakfast. This year we had some breakfast casseroles, ham and french toast. Yum.
Then we got to open more presents! From the grandparents all the kids got walkie talkie watches. So it got pretty loud!
Then we got to sit around and visit for a little while.
I can't even explain how much I love that the kids are so close to their cousins.
I mean, how cute are they?
After visiting here for a while we went back over to the Borgstroms for a bit and played over there for a while.
I love Christmas, and all the family time we have. I love having Mike home for two weeks. I love playing games and I really love eating! Lucky for me there was a lot of good food to eat! And the best part is I can blame all the weight I've gained on the baby. :)

Snow Fun

We had a really big snowfall this week!
The kids could hardly wait to get outside and play in it.
Amber came over with her and Spencer's kids and they had fun sledding on our hill.  Wesley and Colton had a blast!
Bensen fell off a chair at Grandma Lulu's. It looked really bad for a couple of days.
Josh Woodruff gave us some Arnicare to put on it and it looked much better a couple days later.
On Christmas Eve morning we went sledding up in the retention pond in Silverleaf.
It's a perfect size hill for our kids.
Earlier this week we went sledding at Romer Park by Emily and Josh's house but it was much colder and the hill was so big the kids didn't last very long.
Mike even got in on the fun.  There was a little jump at the bottom of the hill that everyone was trying to hit.
Now we are ready to party tonight! :)

December Fun

On December 15th Wesley lost his first tooth!
It had been loose for a couple of weeks. On this particular day he was having a hard time eating lunch, because the tooth kept getting in the way, so he just pulled it out.
It was pretty exciting!
On December 19th the kids finally talked me into doing the gingerbread house.
Mike is actually the one that bought it for them.  It's not my favorite thing to do, but the kids loved it! Bensen especially liked the candy.
Later that night we had our Bailey Christmas party at the church.
We had good soup and salads and yummy desserts, and played lots of fun games.
Candy wrap, plate on head, pin the nose on the reindeer, make the best antlers and thunder.
There was even a craft, we made Popsicle stick snowmen ornaments.
It's always pretty crazy when we all get together.

But we always have a lot of fun.
I love my big crazy family. I love that we are all pretty close and live by each other so we get to have fun get togethers often. We sure are blessed.
