California Trip Day 10-Disneyland and Driving

We woke up early today. We didn't realize that the parks open and hour later on Saturday. So we got there about 45 minutes early.
Me and Jaycee went straight to Guardians fo the Galaxy.
Mike took the rest of them to Bugs Land and rode bumper cars twice, Heimlich's train and Flea Flyer.
Then we met up and went to Carsland.
Mike took all the kids but Vivian. Bensen was scared, but he did it. He didn't love it. Me and Viv went and found some water while we waited.
Then I went with Jaycee and Wesley.
While we were on the ride Mike took Bensen and Vivian to meet some characters from Zootopia.

Then we rode Mater's dancing car ride and took some pictures.

We went to ride Toy Story, but we got halfway through the line and it closed. Jaycee really wanted to ride the Incredicoaster, but it was closed all day as was the Toy Story ride.
So we went and rode the Jumping Jellyfish, and the Swings.
Bensen actually wanted to ride the swings again. While we were on the ride Mike bought us some frozen lemonades. Today was also hot but it stayed closer to 100 degrees. Mike took Bensen and Viv to ride The Little Mermaid while the rest of us did Soaring over California. Then we met up at the Monster's Inc line. He took everyone with him on Monsters, except me and Jaycee. We went and rode Guardians again.
We love it!
Then we did Monster's Inc again.
Then we were able to talk the kids into leaving, telling them if we left they could swim at the next hotel when we got there.
We left around 3:30. We drove for about an hour and a half to get to our new hotel in Hespira. The first thing we did when we got there was go swimming! Which was fun, and hard at the same time. I forgot to pack the life jackets. Bensen only almost drowned once. Bensen and Vivian are crazy when it comes to water. They take off like they can swim. Neither of them have ever tried swimming without a life jacket before. I don't think they realized they would sink without them.
The Mike went and got us dinner, then we went to bed.
The next morning we were out of there by 7:30.

I was so ready to go home!
It was a great trip! I love making memory's with my family!

California Trip Day 9-Universal Studios

Mike paid extra so we could get into the park early. Only Harry Potter was open early, so that's what we did.

Our first ride was the main Harry Potter ride, I had to force Wesley to force on it. It ended up being his favorite ride. It was also Jaycee's favorite.
There was a smaller Harry Potter ride that we rode next. The kids did a couple of spells with their wands. (Mike purchased on eBay, and we borrowed Brody's.)
Then we went and did the Minion ride and a smaller Minion ride. By this time it was 9:20ish and already 98 degrees! We were already melting!
So we went and rode the city tour. Bensen was afraid to get on at first, but Mike kept him calm.
Then we went to the Famous Pets Show, where we ran into Mikes family.
We ate our sandwiches while we were waiting for the Pet show to start.
After the show me, Jaycee, Rylee, Logan, Sid, and Reese went to ride Jurassic Park. Now the temperate was 108 degrees. We waited in the longest line ever! It had to have been at least 2 hours! But felt more like 5! While we were in line the temperature got up to 111 degree!
While we waited in line Mike, Wes, Bensen, Viv, Sarah, Elsie, Grandma, and Grandpa went and played in the splash zone on the Silly Fun World.

Then they went over to Harry Potter and got Butter beers and did more spells.
After our too short ride on Jurassic Park, we went over to ride the Mummy, we tried the single rider line. (We learned while waiting in the never ending line, that if you are a single rider you wait like 10 minutes instead of eternity!) So we tried it. Jaycee and Reese were freaking out about having to ride alone. Luckily it worked out that Logan and Reese went together, and Jaycee and Rylee went together.
We were heading back to meet up with the others, we saw Mike on the escalators, I guess Bensen and Wesley really wanted to ride the escalator!
We went back dropped off Sarah's kids to her and went to Harry Potter to get me and Jaycee a frosted butter beer. I think they taste like cream soda floats.
Then Jaycee and Wes did some more spells.
I was past ready to leave. It was way too hot for me, and my babies were all hot and sweaty!
So we took Elsie with us and left.
It took us about an hour and forty minutes to get back to our hotel. Then I went to get us some dinner from Red Robin. I got lost and what should have taken 10 minutes took me more like 30-40. Oops!
Bensen had started to rash a little the day before, but today it was so much worse!

Needless to say, but we stopped his medicine.

California Trip Day 8-Disneyland

Today was our Magic Morning at Disneyland. So we got up earlier then usual. We waited in line to get into Disneyland. Once we got in Me and the older kids Pretty much ran to the Matterhorn. When we got there it wasn't open. So we got fast passes (I thought) and went to Autotopia, which also wasn't open! We didn't realize that only Tomorrowland and Fanstasyland would be open. So the rides the kids wanted to ride weren't open! So we went and rode Pinocchio and Toads Wild Ride.

By the time we rode a couple of the Fantasyland rides our Magic Morning was over, so we headed over to Splash Mountain and Winnie the Pooh.
The line was so short that Jaycee got to ride it twice, once with me and once with Mike.
Then we went over to the Haunted Mansion. We were about on the ride and they closed it down.
So we ran over to use our fast passes for the Matterhorn. But apparently I got fast passes for It's a Small World!
Luckily the lady that works there took pity on me and let us go through. While we had been running around Mike took Viv and Bensen and bought bubble makers, and rode It's a Small World.

So we headed that way, and both Jaycee and Wesley wanted to ride it.
They sure loved their bubble makers, and they were pretty cute with them.
Then we headed over to Autotopia and Buzz Lightyear.
Then we left.

We were out of there by noon.
We went back to our hotel and had lunch, then we went to meet Mikes family at Huntington Beach.

The kids loved the beach.
Bensen and Viv played in the sand.
Mike, Jaycee, and Wesley played in the ocean with Grandpa Randy and Sarah's family.

After the beach we went to dinner to celebrate Emily's birthday at La Sirena, a Mexican restaurant. It was pretty good.
To end the day me and Sarah went and did laundry at a laundry mat for an hour. By the time we got back it was 11 and everyone was asleep. Which is a good thing because we are getting up really early for Universal.
