Happy January! Me and Mike celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary! We went to a movie and to eat at Taggarts Grill.

Viv was able to play with Kirk's (Jaycee's comp coach) "Little Sisters" team for futsal. We are going to have her try out for his team next year. She had a lot of fun playing futsal.

Bensen turned 9! Bensen is so great! He loves everything...except food, he is such a picky eater. He likes playing basketball, reading, playing with his friends and cousins, playing the switch. His favorite game is Zelda, which is why he had a Zelda themed cake. Jaycee had a basketball game on his birthday, so we had to celebrate with dinner the next night at Pizza Pie Cafe.

We got a good snowstorm and we built some big snowmen.

I have wanted to paint for a while now. Especially the ceilings. I picked a color and we started in Me and Mikes bedroom and bathroom. I love it! It was supposed to be a grey. Mike and Jaycee say it looks very blue, which is probably why I like it. I had planned to paint the whole main floor with this color. Since Mike doesn't love it I think we will pick a new color for the rest of the main floor. But we are leaving these rooms as they are. I love the white ceiling so much! I can't wait to do the rest, except I absolutely hate painting! It might be my least favorite thing to do...ever!

We bought a cute little CRV for Jaycee to drive. She is excited. Hopefully it will last and be a good little car for her and Wesley in a few years.

December

December is always a busy month! Puppies are hard. She really is a good puppy, she loves her crate, which is nice. She hasn't ruined anything, and the potty training is coming along. She is pretty cute.

Vivian isn't always very nice to Wesley, Wesley is almost always nice to Vivian. Occasionally she lets him be nice to her. I had to document it.

We got some tickets to go to a Jazz game, the kids got to see Santa and Mrs. Claus. We always have fun at the Jazz games, the kids like to make signs, and yell and scream.

We have been keeping busy with basketball for all the kids but Vivian. She's been staying busy with tumbling, and had her show off this month. She also did the mini cheer camp at Northridge and got to do her cheer at the boys basketball game.

We made it to the Ogden lights this year. We had a good time trying to find the hidden pinecone in all the houses.

We did a couple of hikes too. We got some crampons for Christmas that came in handy.

Sickness hit us, is it really Christmas if someone isn't sick? It slowly made it's way through most of us. Jaycee and Mike were able to avoid it.

We had such a great year and we are looking forward to this next year.

 

November, Puppy!

We decided we did need a puppy.  It took us a while to choose which one we were going to pick. The only one Mike wanted was the brown one. Which we all loved also, but there was one black one that I also really liked. Jaime decided to take her! Trevor ended up getting one also. We named ours Penny. The kids love her. She is so cute. We were able to pick her up on Thanksgiving. So the kids had a little bit of a break from school to get used to her.

Wesley received an award at school from his science teacher. He really is a great student!

Heather was in charge of the Christmas Tree Jubilee. So all of us sisters got together to make a tree. It was so fun, I would like to do it again sometime.

I was able to go on a fieldtrip with Bensen to the Aquarium in the Layton Mall. We had fun, it's been a minute since I have ridden in a school bus...that was fun.
