Happy Birthday Wes!

 Wes is the best, he is so easy going, smart, hard working, and he is good at anything he works to be good at. I only ever have to ask him to do things once. He hardly ever tells me "just a second"! He jumps up and does what we ask. He is also a straight face liar. Luckily I don't think that happens very often, but really I wouldn't know either way.😅 We sure love him! Oh...it is Penny's birthday too, so happy birthday Penny!

August

We got in a few more swim days before school started. I swear school started earlier and earlier every year. This year they went back on the 17th. Like I said before Jaycee went to soccer conditioning all summer! I believe it started the first week of June. I am happy to say she made the team. They have games before school starts. Wes has also started football and they have had a few games. 

I can hardly believe I have a kid old enough to drive herself to school! Jaycee started 11th grade, Wes 8th, Bensen 4th, and Vivian 2nd.

We had a pretty cool lightning storm, that brought with it a magical rainbow!

Mike is the best and sets up temple appointments with kids almost every month. This month they went to the Bountiful temple.

 

July

We started he month off with the Borgstrom reunion. This year we did a staycation. Grandma and Grandpa set up their camper in Sarah and Jim's backyard. We set up some shade tents. We had a great time! We went up to Causey Dam and paddle boarded and cliff jumped. We went and swam at Joys pool, went for a hike, went rock climbing, did some crafts, and played games. It is so fun spending time 

with family! We went to the lake a few times. On the last time in I backed the boat down and waited for them to start the boat, then I went and parked the trailer. I walked down to the dock, but it was taking a while so I went to the restroom. When I came out kids were jumping/being thrown out of the boat. Viv was the only kid still in the boat, she refused to be thrown out! Abbie and Ellie had ropes and were towing the boat back to shore. So I ran up and got the trailer and we got the boat back on it. While we looked at the boat, the kids went over to the beach to swim for a bit. We don't know what is wrong with the boat, but it was taking on a lot of water, Grandma was worried it was going to sink, hence the throwing of the kids! So we tried to get as much water out of it as possible. Crazy boat trip.

We went for a few bike rides, Spork and Powder Mountains Brim are my favorite. I wish it didn't take so long to get to them. The Riverdale parkway is fun with all the kids. Wesley saved Vivian's life on that trail! We started in Riverdale and headed north. At the very beginning you cross the road then go over a bridge, there is a small space right before the bridge where a little bike can go right off the little cliff into the the river. Just as Vivian was about to go off said cliff, Wesley jumped off his bike and grabbed her! He was so fast, it could have been a disaster!

We also went and played frisbee golf a few time!

Jaycee did soccer in the mornings, but our afternoons were pretty much open, next month Wesley starts having football in the evenings.

We had a great month, and we packed all the things into it!
