Spring Break Day 1

We started Spring Break off with the Mario movie. We headed down to Koosharem! Don't ask me where that is, because I don't really know. We stopped at Goblin Valley on our way down and did a few hikes. We had a great time exploring and hiking.
The place we stayed was nice. It had three separate building to stay, along with a cute camp trailer and a covered wagon. It was too cold to use the wagon.

March

March brought on, the end of basketball for Wesley and Bensen, more futsal, and some lacrosse. I made Jaycee try out for lacrosse this year. I had talked to the coach at one of the basketball games and he was saying how much he need players. I think she is enjoying it. It is pretty fun to watch. They don't win a lot of games, but she comes home happy from games and from practice. I'm calling that a win, because that doesn't happen with soccer of basketball.
Penny went to the vet. She also got spayed. No puppies for us. So now she is in a cone.
We went to a Stake activity The Oscars. Amber, Tyson, and Katie were on our team. We had a lot of fun. We even won a few times.
I turned 41!
We went to more lacrosse games and the snow never stops! We have gotten so much snow this year. Even the kids are hoping it will stop! I am excited to see how full all the reservoirs get! Should be a good boating season...if we can find the time to go.

February

We started off the month in sunny St. George for Jaycee's soccer tournament. We were excited to have some warmer weather...we were disappointed, it was so cold! We love watching her play. She has really enjoyed being on her comp team. It is a fun team. It was a nice switch up, but once we got back, it was back to basketball.
We had our traditional heart pizza for Valentines dinner. We missed Jaycee, she was at basketball. It is so funny how much the kids love have those fancy (plastic) glasses and eating by candle light. Something so simple, yet we only do it once a year.  We should come up with more reasons to eat by candlelight.
It has been so snowy this year, we are read for spring!

January

Happy January! Me and Mike celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary! We went to a movie and to eat at Taggarts Grill.
Viv was able to play with Kirk's (Jaycee's comp coach) "Little Sisters" team for futsal. We are going to have her try out for his team next year. She had a lot of fun playing futsal.
Bensen turned 9! Bensen is so great! He loves everything...except food, he is such a picky eater. He likes playing basketball, reading, playing with his friends and cousins, playing the switch. His favorite game is Zelda, which is why he had a Zelda themed cake. Jaycee had a basketball game on his birthday, so we had to celebrate with dinner the next night at Pizza Pie Cafe.
We got a good snowstorm and we built some big snowmen.
I have wanted to paint for a while now. Especially the ceilings. I picked a color and we started in Me and Mikes bedroom and bathroom. I love it! It was supposed to be a grey. Mike and Jaycee say it looks very blue, which is probably why I like it. I had planned to paint the whole main floor with this color. Since Mike doesn't love it I think we will pick a new color for the rest of the main floor. But we are leaving these rooms as they are. I love the white ceiling so much! I can't wait to do the rest, except I absolutely hate painting! It might be my least favorite thing to do...ever!
We bought a cute little CRV for Jaycee to drive. She is excited. Hopefully it will last and be a good little car for her and Wesley in a few years.
