Ready for Summer

I feel like I'm falling behind. Easter seems like forever ago.
We've played a whole season of Soccer. Jaycee did so good this year!

She really got in there this year.
Wesley really liked it his first game.

After his first game he pretty much just liked laying on the grass. :) It was still fun though.  I'm not sure that I will be signing him up for fall season.
Me and Amber coached both of their teams. It was fun, but we were both glad it was over. Jaycee is already talking about basketball. I told her she still has another season of soccer before she can play basketball. She really wants to take dance also, but for Christmas we got season Lagoon passports. And we have several camping trips planned, so I think we will be pretty busy this summer.
We have already been to Lagoon a handful of times. Jaycee is fearless! Her favorite ride is Wicked.
After riding Wicked I took her on the Colossus, during the ride she was telling me it was too slow! I'm pretty sure I didn't ride the Colossus until I was 12 and even then I was pretty scared. The last time we went she rode the White roller coaster. She didn't love it at first, but Mae liked it, so we did it again and that time she loved it. Wesley likes going also. Luck for him he is too short to ride the big Roller Coasters.  The first time we went he wouldn't ride anything. The second time we went, Kayla was with him and he liked everything a lot better. He just needed a friend. They are so cute riding the rides together.

I can't believe Wesley went on the Tidal Wave again.  He went on it the first time we went and hated it.  So when he wanted to go on it again I was shocked.  He hated it just as much the second time as he did the first time.
Who doesn't love the bumper cars?
We've had so much fun already, it's hard to believe that summer hasn't started for us yet.  Jaycee still has one more week left of school.
Over Memorial Day Weekend we went to Star Valley with Trevor and Katie, and Amber and Tyson. Trevor stayed with us in the Motel.  Amber stayed with Tyson's grandparents in their trailer. The kids loved being together.
I hope they always stay this close.
On Friday we went to Jackson Hole for the day.  We went to a mountain man Rendezvous. That was interesting.

We went to the Bar J Chuck wagon. The kids did so good. The food was pretty good.  We both got the chicken and beef.  Next time I would just get the beef.  It was so good.
The kids loved walking around, they had a lot of neat stuff to look at.
On Saturday we spent the day at the Grand Teton National Park.

This might be Jenny lake.  We hiked around one lake to get to another one that was really big.  I don't remember the names of the Lakes.
To be honest I was so worried about running into a bear I didn't pay to close attention to anything, other then looking for bears.
The kids loved it.  It's too bad it wasn't warmer, we would have let the kids get in.  But the water was freezing and the high that day was only like 67.
Mike with the Tetons.  Mike has actually climbed Middle Teton.
 More cousin pictures.
On Sunday we hiked up to a geyser in Afton.

What a cute little family. :)
For some reason Wesley started to pose like this.  I think it is his superman pose. Jaycee goes right along with him.
Don't we have the cutest kids ever?

We've been working pretty hard with Jaycee on riding here bike.  She has been riding for a while, but yesterday she figured out how to start by herself! She is pretty awesome.
Getting started is a little scary.  Once she gets going, it's all good.
We are looking forward to a fun summer.

Easter

We are all settled at Mike's parents. Jaycee and Wesley have been taking tumbling for a couple of weeks.
Wesley is ready to quit already. He says it is too hard. :( It is so cute to watch, I'm sad he doesn't want to keep taking. I have them both signed up for Soccer. I think it starts next week. That should be interesting. We had a really good Easter. It started with an hunt on Monday.
Jaycee also lost a tooth, along with 4 of her Bailey cousins!

We dyed some eggs.

Jaycee made her bunny ears hat at school on Friday.  Mike has Fridays off so we went to the Gateway to Tuscanos for lunch (I had a birthday coupon, so I ate for free, and kids eat free, and we still spent 30 bucks!  But it is so good.) then we went to The Croods.  It was such a fun show.  Jaycee wore her hat everywhere we went.  She even made Wesley his very own.  What a nice big sister.
This was Saturday at the Bailey Party.
All the Bailey cousins with Grandma and Grandpa Bailey.

Easter morning right before church.

The Borgstrom party after church.

It's nice to remember all that Jesus Christ has done for us. And what better way to celebrate His resurrection then to go to church and spend time with family.
Jaycee is liking school now.  Wesley is sad everyday when she leaves and he tries to get on the bus with her almost everyday!  Its crazy that he still has 3 years before he starts school.  He is so smart, he could probably go this coming fall and be fine.
Oh and the kids got hair cuts yesterday! Nice summer hair, and today it is snowing! It must be spring in Utah!

SOLD!

As of today around 1 o'clock our Hooper house was officially sold! What a crazy month we have had. Everything went according to plan and we closed on our house yesterday, and everything funded today.  We loved living in Hooper. Even though it was so far west! We loved our house, our ward, the wonderful people that we became friends with, Jaycee's kindergarten teacher, and so many other things.
It was pretty much my idea to sell, Mike could have stayed in Hooper forever (he's not thrilled about moving back to South Weber).  While we were packing and packing and packing, I was having a hard time. I kept telling Mike "Can you believe we are really doing this?" He kept telling me "This was your idea!" There has been lot of tears, but I have seen the Lords hand in all of this. I feel things have worked out so perfectly that there is no way this could be wrong.  Things have gone so smoothly, hopefully as we start the process of building our new home things will continue to go smoothly.
We are planning on staying with Mike's parents (for a undetermined amount of time) to save up some money, then build the home of our dreams! I have had a house plan that I love since before we built our last house, we are hoping to be able to build it.
Jaycee has been so excited to start her new school.  She wasn't even sad to leave Country View, until she had her first day at her new school.  She said she didn't know what she was supposed to do, so she cried. :( And to make things worse, she has to sit by two boys! I told her she could be friends with boys...she does not agree.  She told me she didn't want to go back.  Well yesterday was much better, no tears.  She did give me a scare when I went to get her off the bus and she wasn't there.  She decided to get off with her cousins and go to my Moms.  I was a little scared that she got off at the wrong stop all by herself.  Luckily she was with her cousins and not scared at all.  Today she promised me she would wait and get off at the right stop.   It was funny when I went to get her Paige and Mae (cousins) told me that they told Jaycee she had to stay on the bus, so they got off and when they turned around Jaycee had followed them off.  They tried to get her back on but the bus driver drove away. So they did try. Oh and Paige and Mae are in her class.
Funny side note: Jaime recently went through her girls clothes and gave some away. Well, Jaycee's first day of school Paige and Mae came to ride the bus with her from her stop, so she wouldn't be scared (Jaycee has never had to  ride a bus) and they were wearing matching clothes from Jaime's girls. We are talking from head to boot. :) So she started off a little mad that she didn't have matching clothes. Later that day we had to go to my mom's for something and Jaycee said "I sure hope Mae isn't wearing that shirt!" Luck for us she wasn't.
On Monday night me and Mike spent a good chunk of the night in the ER.  I woke up early Monday morning with some chest pressure. Then the rest of the day I had a major head ache. At 7 pm the chest pressure came back, so I went to my mom's to check my pulse and oxygen levels. I had tried to do it myself but I thought I must be doing it wrong, because according to my calculations it was only 42 beats per minute.  She has one of those finger pulse oximeters.  It was 44 bpm went I checked there.   After being in the ER for about 4 hours, having an EKG, chest x-ray, and some blood tests, with a heart rate between 40 to 45 bpm.  He said my heart was fine it is just beating slow. My blood pressure was fine. I was asked several times if I work out a lot and do a lot of cardio. They should have known by looking at me that that was obviously not the case! :) Anyway, after 4 hours he said it could be heart burn (I know what heart burn is and this was not it) or asthma. ASTHMA. I haven't had an asthma attack for so long! I don't know why it didn't occure to me that it could be asthma.  I had told Mike early that the pressure felt like when you try to swim across the pool without coming up for air. You know the burning in your chest. That's what it felt like.  I've never had my heart rate drop low with asthma, and my oxygen levels were good.  So who knows what it really was.  My heart rate is back up in the 50's today. I think it is normally in the 60's, so I'm getting back to normal.
Now if everything else could get back to normal.  We are almost all settled at Mikes parents. We have way too much stuff. I hate moving and hope to only have to do it one more time. We are so grateful for Mikes parents kindness and generosity in letting us stay with them. I have to best In-laws ever!
I guess that's all for now.

Happy Valentines!

Kind of...yesterday was Valentines Day and me and Wesley were sick with the flu! We still had heart pizza with juice.  It was sad, Wesley has been wanting heart pizza and to light our heart candles since the day I got them out, and I kept telling him we would light them on Valentines day.  Well, he was so sick that while we ate he laid on the couch sick and sad. So we will have to do a redo dinner.
Mike's sister Sarah had baby Elsie on January 17 (I think).  She is so cute and everything went as planned.  That's always nice.
That makes me a Aunt for the 25th time!
We need to get us one of these. :)
She is so cute, and we are glad to welcome her to the family.

We took Emily (Mikes little sister) to the MTC on February 6.  She is going to be such an amazing missionary. She is going to Birmingham Alabama, Spanish speaking.  She has such a strong testimony, and she is so good at talking to other people.
The kids are sure going to miss her.
Maybe almost as much as Mike is going to miss her.  They like to have salsa parties. While they talk about politics and school work. I think Mikes going to miss all the Math homework he used to help her with. :)
I don't think anyone will miss her as much as her Mama. They are so close...it's cute.
We put our house up for sale on Monday, February 11. We had one person come through that same day.  Then on Tuesday we had 3 different families come through. After the last family came through Mike called me and said that he had a really good feeling about them. That night their Realtor text Mike and said his clients wanted to make an offer. So on Wednesday morning we accepted a full price offer!
We are pretty excited.   Today they came through and did their inspection.  Everything went well.  We are going to keep our fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly.  It's bitter sweet.  We have loved this house, and all the amazing people we have met here.
We feel extremely blessed.  I know that the Lord is watching over us, and that he answers prayers.
